God loves us.

It is incredible how deep and strong His love is for us.

It is incomprehensible.

There is no way for us to fully describe it.

We can never completely understand.

He loves us, no matter what.

How do we know how much he loves us?

He tells us:

St. Paul says: But God proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8

He died for us while we were still sinners. He sacrificed Himself for us in all our imperfections. He loves us just as we are.

Jesus prays: And I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one, that the world may know that you sent me,  and that you loved them even as you loved me. Father, they are your gift to me. I wish that where I am they also may be with me, that they may see my glory that you gave me, because you loved me before the foundation of the world.  John 17:22-24

God loves us just as much as he loves Jesus, His only son. We are a gift. He loves us this much.

have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. Jeremiah 31:3

His love for us never ends. It is everlasting. It is forever.

Isn’t that amazing?

I’m back (hopefully for good)

It has been over two months since my last post on this blog and I am finally back and writing again. I am excited to start a new era of this blog now that I am back home from my study abroad trip this summer. I took a much needed break from blogging while I transitioned back home and started up another year of school.

As I move forward with this blog, I hope that it will be a good platform for sharing my writing, photography, and thoughts. There may even be a recipe every once and a while. There will be a lot of posts coming up because I never finished posting my photos and thoughts from my trip this summer. The posts will have a little different perspective since I have been back for a while, but I want to tie up the loose ends and post the last of my pictures. I also have a lot of writing that I did in my travel writing class that I want to share. School and life are very crazy right now, so I don’t know how often I will be able to post, but I am excited to be back online!
